How to submit: You will need to submit your video through Orchid (insert link). All ECS Club meeting registrants will receive a free one-year Orchid Pro subscription! Once on Orchid, you can submit your video directly within the ECS Club group.
Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your video case presentation:
1. Video Duration
- The video should be no longer than 5 minutes.
2. Language
- The video must be narrated in English.
3. Title Page
- Include a title page at the beginning of the video with the following information:
- Title of the video: Clearly state the type of case (e.g., Aortic, Mitral, etc.).
- Authors: List all contributing authors.
- Institution and Contact Information: Provide the name of your institution and the corresponding author’s contact email.
- Disclosures: Include any relevant disclosures, such as financial interests or conflicts of interest.
4. Content
- The video should feature original endoscopic work. This means the case should include footage of the actual procedure that you have performed.
- Surgical Procedures in Cardiac Surgery only will be considered:-
- Valvular disease
- Atrial fibrillaton
- Structural heart
- Revascularization
- Aneurysm surgery
5. Outcome and Follow-up:
- At the end of the video, provide a description of the outcome for the patient, including any relevant details about their recovery or results.
- Mention the time of follow-up at which the outcome was assessed (e.g., 1 month, 6 months, etc.).
By following these guidelines, your video submission will be complete and ready for review. Please ensure all aspects are included and clearly presented for optimal evaluation.
